Florence M. Palumbo Florence M. Palumbo died surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 82. Born in Philadelphia, she was an orginal Levittown homeowner for 56 years. Beloved wife of the late Vincent, she was the loving mother of Kathleen Shelmire (Stephen) and Patricia Morris (George) and the proud grandmother of Lauren and Christian Shelmire and Kelley Morris. She will also be sadly missed by her devoted nieces, Florence Green, Maryanne Welte and Joan McKee and her loving friends, Marianne Moore and Dorothy Cantwell. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
