Frances C. Arnold

Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Arnold was a long time resident of Middletown Township and proud to be an original Levittown homeowner.

Throughout her life, Fran held a variety of part-time positions in diverse aspects of retail, always allowing for social involvement, but also making sure that her children never came home to an empty house.

At various times in her life Fran could be found volunteering at the Voting Polls and at the Silver Lake Nature Center, always willing to lend a hand whenever there was a need.

Friends and neighbors will lovingly remember her for her genuine kindness and caring ways.

Beloved wife of the late Charles W., Mrs. Arnold is the loving mother of Michael (Joan), Mark (Joyce), Judith Welch (Brian), and Matthew Arnold.

She will also be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren, Stephen, Elizabeth; Mark Jr., Brett & Samantha; Kathryn, Sarah, Bryan; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Davis; sister, Ada DiTullio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; son, Keith; granddaughter, Jaclyn; and sister, Edythe Young.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia.
