Frank V. Kovalovsky Frank V. Kovalovsky died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his residence in Wood River Village in Bensalem. He was 97. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a long time resident of Levittown, prior to moving to Wood River in 2003. Mr. Kovalovsky was a former member of Queen of the Universe Parish. Beloved husband of the late Marie A. (Preininger), Mr. Kovalovsky was the loving father of Sister Louise Kovalovsky, C.D.P. of Pittsburgh, Frances Hays (Charles) of Lansdale, and Arlene Buettler (John) of Langhorne; devoted grandfather of Gregory Hays (Christi) and Kenneth Hays (Carrie), Jeffrey Buettler (Susan), Mark Buettler (Abbey), Stephen and John Buettler and the very proud great grandfather of Garrett, Ryan, Lily, Cullen, Alek, Ella and Finn. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces. He was very handy around the house. Mr. Kovalovsky enjoyed playing bridge, pinochle, crossword puzzles, reading National Geographic Magazines and traveling. Mr. Kovalovsky served proudly in the Army during World War II. He was very active in the Middletown Senior Center, including holding the office of president . Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 South Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Wood River Village Employee Appreciation Fund, 3200 Bensalem Boulevard, Bensalem, PA 19020 or to Holy Ghost Preparatory School, 2429 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020.
