Frank Carl Nugent III

Born and raised by a loving family in The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 23rd 1962 which included his mother Catherine E Nugent & his late father Frank C Nugent Jr.

He would later attend Benjamin Rush in Northeast Philadelphia for school. Frank would start his career as a friendly and well-known tow truck driver before later transitioning into the shop to become a knowledgeable and hardworking auto mechanic of Bob Nolan’s Automotive where he would continue to work for 42 years.

Frank was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. In fact, you could often find Frank roaring up and down New Falls Road, wind in his beard loving life on his Fatboy, softail cruiser motorcycle.

Frank also loved to spend time with his family and friends, including his three sisters Denise, Cathy & Cindy Nugent who he all loved dearly.

Frank was known and looked up to as a great, caring, loving, smart, selfless, responsible man and father to who he was a present and prominent positive figure in his only child and son Frank C Nugent IV's life to whom was Frank's world.

Frank will be remembered by family, friends and associates for his upbeat, care free but responsible and wise personality full of both funny and serious one liners, personal sayings, phrases and expressions, integrity, laughter and kindness that made up the loving, loved, dependable, respectful, respected, humorous, honest, responsible, straight forward and frankly imperfect son, brother, father, family member and friend that he truly was.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with a funeral service to commence at 11:30, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. Following the memorial gathering will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines St, Philadelphia, PA 19126.
