

Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Anna (Verdi) and Nicholas Buttari, Mr. Buttari has been a long time resident of Levittown and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish.
Mr. Buttari was employed with the United States Postal Service in the Bulk Mail Center for 40 years when he retired in 2010.
He was a US Air Force Vietnam War veteran, where he served as jet engine mechanic.
Mr. Buttari enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 50 years to JoAnn (Donahue), Mr. Buttari is the loving father of Alison Buttari and Brian Buttari (Brooke); and the devoted grandfather of Jaime, Jesse and Olivia.
Mr. Buttari will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Maryann Johnson of Philadelphia and Nicholas Buttari of Bristol; many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. There will be no calling hours prior to mass.
