Gerald A. Burke

Gerald was born in Philadelphia to Martin J. Burke and Anna Burke (nee Hodder). He was the beloved husband of Eileen M. Burke (nee Herbert) for 58 years, and the brother of Martin J. Burke Jr. (Shirley), Joan Borie (Harry), Kathryn Hartnett (the late Mickie) and Patricia Offner (the late Jack). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. 

Gerald moved to Levittown in 1971. He was a faithful parishioner of Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215 and Secretary for the Alhambra Al-Fath Caravan #126.

Gerald was a proud Navy veteran having served on the USS Wisconsin from 1955-1958. He worked for Canada Dry in Philadelphia for 33 years until retiring in 1999. He enjoyed traveling, trips to the casinos, and fishing. 

Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27th at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA. There will be a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
