

Helen Jean Shaw, of Levittown, died on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her home. She was 62. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Shaw has been a resident of Levittown for the past 28 years. She spent her career in the medical field most recently with Comprehensive Cardiology and prior to that with Dr. George McManmon, DDS Helen loved camping, golf vacations with family and friends and spending time at the Jersey shore. Helen truly enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved to host summer picnics at her home. Helen was the beloved wife of William L. Shaw for 23 years. She was the loving sister of Barbara Mount, Harry Forker and Jo Ellen Nichols and her husband James. She was the daughter-in-law of Yoko Shaw and the sister-in-law of Barbara Teichmann and her husband Wayne, Debbie Leipziger and her husband Ron, Shirley DePaolo and her husband Dan and Brenda Miller and her husband Ed. She will also be sadly missed by her beloved dogs, Sami and JoJo; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eleanor Forker; her father-in-law, George Shaw; and her sister-in-law, Mary LoCicero. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940.
