Henry C. ConroyHenry C. Conroy died, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 82.Born in Doylestown, Henry has been a life time resident of Lower Bucks County and a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills.He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, PFC Michael McGinnis USMC, Division 2, Newtown and the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215, Saint John Neumann Assembly. He was also a member of the American Legion, Morrell Smith Post #440, Newtown.He was Judge of Elections in Falls Township for many, many years and was a past member of the Pennsbury School Board.Henry was a graduate of Rider College and was employed with the State of New Jersey for over 35 years. He was a Grants Manager for the New Jersey Department of Transportation until his retirement in 2004.He was a proud US Air Force veteran and enjoyed playing on bowling teams for 40 years. He loved his Phillies and was a season ticket holder since 1976.Beloved husband of 58 years to Jacqueline A. "Jackie" (Markey), Henry is the loving father of Colleen P. Andrejczak (Dennis) and devoted grandfather of Autumn Irene and Dennis C.Henry will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law and sisters-in law.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 5th, 2017, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call from 8:30 until 9:30 am on Monday, November 6th, 2017 at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a donation in Henry's name may be made to the Joe McGinnis Scholarship Fund, AOH-Division 2 Newtown, PO Box 7, Newtown, PA 18940-0007.
