Born in Monesson and raised in Belle Vernon, PA, Mr. Schmidt was a Levittown resident since 1964. He was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown. Mr. Schmidt was employed in sales with Baum Folder located in Manhattan, NY. He served in the Army as a Corporal during the Korean War. Mr. Schmidt enoyed learning about Civil War History and golf. Beloved husband of 60 years to Virginia D. (Dannell ), Mr. Schmidt was the loving father of Henry A. Schmidt, Jr. (Vivian) of Levittown, Richard J. Schmidt of Bradley Beach, NJ and John T. Schmidt of Yardley. He was the devoted grandfather of Michael, Kristen, Mandy, Allanah, Van Allen and Von Henry and the proud great grandfather of Jayden, Ashton and Lily. Services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
