James William Wetzel of Philadelphia died on Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was 70.Born in Scranton, Mr. Wetzel proudly served in the Army National Guard for 32 years.Jimmy spent his working career as a truck driver for over 30 years.When his sons were younger, he spent several years coaching their soccer teams with the Olney Athletic Association.Husband of the late Gail A. (Fitzpatrick), Jimmy is the loving father of Kevin M. (Carla), Jeffrey P. (Amanda) and the late Jamie Wetzel and is the devoted grandfather of Christopher and Timothy Wetzel.He is the brother of Donna Repko (Martin "Rabbit") and the late Mary Lou Kennedy and Robert Wetzel and will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 1 until 3 p.m. on Friday, March 3rd at the James J.
