

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Altoona, Mrs. Witt was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School. She moved to this area in the late 1960's and has been a Bristol Township resident for the past 42 years.
Mrs. Witt enjoyed being a former Girl Scout troop leader when her daughters were young. After raising her family, Jane later went to work as a civil draftsman for Irwin Associates in Levittown.
In her free time, Mrs. Witt enjoyed taking trips to the casinos in Atlantic City.
She is survived by her husband Stanley C. Witt, with whom she proudly recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughters Nadine Applegate and Robyn Tait (Brian G.); her granddaughter Dakota Applegate; her sisters Carol Freet (William), Grace Rodriguez (Dennis) and Charlotte Cooper (Jack) and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alma Lucas.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 until 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., followed by Rite of Committal in Forest Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Witt's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2400 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19103.
