Born and raised in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Elsie (Weaver) and Henry Schmidt, Janet has been a resident of Lower Bucks County for the past 4 years.
Until retiring, Janet was employed as a secretary with Bell Telephone in Center City for many years.
She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, John H. Schmidt and sister, Florence Morgan.
Janet is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Schmidt; niece, Dorothy Wolf (Kevin); nephew John Kirby Schmidt (Maria); and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 12, 2021, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn.
