
Jenny A. Pearson Jenny Pearson peacefully passed away surrounded by family members on December 31, 2011, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 89 years old. Jenny was a Transylvanian Saxon, born in Romania on May 2, 1922. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was a small child, escaping the tyranny of the Romanian regime. She had lived in Fairless Hills since 1953. Jenny was a caring mother and an industrious homemaker who loved the books of Rudyard Kipling, the music of Roy Orbison, gardening in her yard, and animals (especially cats). She also loved to travel. Walt Disney World was a favorite destination. She was an avid writer of journals and she read multiple newspapers and periodicals throughout her life. She expressed her well-reasoned opinions in Letters to the Editor, including some to the Bucks County Courier Times. She had a sharp, smart wit and an always-unique way of looking at things. Jenny was a parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Fairless Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband Allan Pearson in 2003; her parents, Arnold and Jennie Kuriak; and her brother, Charles Kuriak. She is survived by her six children: Aimee (Robert Appleton), Jeff, Lynn (Roy Cutshall), Pam (Joseph Molino), Lisa (George Morris), and John (Winnie), numerous grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, Kendall Deandra, happily welcomed in September 2011. A private mass will be held on Wednesday morning. Internment will follow along with her husband at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown at the convenience of her family.
