Born in Palmerton, PA, Jo Ann was a long time resident of Levittown and worked as a nurse at St. Mary Medical Center for many years.
She was a huge fan of Paul McCartney but mostly she loved being a Nana.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Theres Derkosh, Jo Ann is survived by her daughters, Jenna and Maura (Angel) Dickerson and their father Ken Dickerson as well as her granddaughter, Kennedy Dickerson.
She will also be missed by her sister, Janette Metz (Mark) and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4 until 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 13th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Interment is private.
