Joaquim J. Ramos, Jr. Joaquim J. "Joe" Ramos, Jr. died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 86. Born in Camden, Mr. Ramos has been a life time resident of Parkland. Until his retirement in 1987, Mr. Ramos was employed with General Motors in Ewing, NJ as a machinist for 42 years. He was a US Navy World War II veteran. Mr. Ramos was an avid Phillies fan. Beloved husband of the late Myrtle (Coulton) and father of the late Robert, Mr. Ramos is survived by his devoted son Joe and his wife Jackie of Sea Isle City, NJ. He will also be sadly missed by his 3 grandsons and their spouses, his 6 great grandchildren and his brother, Gerald Ramos and his wife, Alice of Manahawkin, NJ. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
