

John J. Bush of Fairless Hills died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Statesman Nursing Home. He was 92. Born in West Decatur, PA , Mr. Bush has been a a long time resident of Fairless Hills. He served during World War II in Patton's Third Army. A devout Christian man and member of Calvary Full Gospel Church, John is walking the streets of Gold and has heard, "Well done my good and faithful servant." He will be lovingly remembered as a quiet, gentle and sweet man of God who served his country and his family with honor and dignity. We love you! Mr. Bush was the devout husband of Dorothy B. (Musser) Bush for 72 years. He was a fabulous father to his three sons, John Paul, Gary L. (Holly) and Robert G. (Fay). He was a devoted grandfather to John Paul, Michael, Amy, Heather, Sandalea, Jeremy and Matthew and great grandfather of Amanda, Ian, Brian, Isabella, Kayleigh, Rylee and Emmalee. He was the brother of Elsie, Elderine, Eugene, Herman and the late Edna, Carl, Raymond and Leo. He is also survived by his former daughter-in-law Virginia Kenworthy Bush and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friends are also invited to attend his Committal Service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. precisely at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown. There are no calling hours at the funeral home on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.
