John Albert Daley

Born and raised in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, John was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

For 30 years, John was employed with Verizon as a Service Technician. He was also employed as an Auction Manager for Daley Auto Tags, his brother Jim's business.

John enjoyed softball and was a founding member of the Saint Matthew Church Bowling League.

John is the beloved husband of the late Anne Marie (nee Doyle); son of the late Virginia (nee Tagliaferri) and Matthew E. Daley; and brother-in-law of the late Lois Daley.

He is the loving father of Anne Marie Daley; and dear brother of Patricia Giannini (Robert), Matthew (Betty), James (Angela) and Mark Daley.

He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, dear friends and especially his furry friend, Lizzie.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call again on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 9:15 until 10:15 am at Saint Matthew Church, 3000 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, where his funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Sewell, NJ.
