John Robert Dzwonek

John Robert Dzwonek, 30, of Levittown, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from complications of diabetes. He was diagnosed with diabetes 29 years ago and was very conscientious with managing his blood sugar, but the disease took its toll.

Born and raised in Bucks County, John graduated from Bucks County Technical High School. John was an electrician working alongside his father for many years. He was known for his engaging personality and commitment to the causes he believed in. He devoted himself to social justice and loved to talk politics.

John was a dedicated and talented multi-instrumentalist who loved to play and perform music. He started out playing the drums and moved into learning the bass, eventually becoming proficient on many instruments. He was a proud member of the Bucks County band Rat Earth Society. His love for his family and friends was all encompassing. He will be forever remembered for his gift of loving easily, completely and fiercely. He loved to hug everyone and was known to say “I love you” often and to everyone.

Left to cherish John’s memory are his loving parents, Robert and Joanie Dzwonek, his sister Elizabeth Rose Dzwonek, and his best friend and devoted dog, Zeus, as well as many well loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rosemary Krier and Michael and Gladys Dzwonek, and his cousin Mark T. Krier.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 9:30 until 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 where his memorial mass will be held at 10:30 am.

To honor John’s relaxed, easy going style, please feel free to dress casually for the service.

Interment will be held privately.
