

John Fiori, of Huntingdon Valley, died on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was 82. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Fiori was a long time resident of Levittown and Lakeland, Florida before moving to Huntingdon Valley. He worked as a carpenter for 50 years until retiring in 1992 and was a member of Carpenters Local 31 in Trenton, NJ. Mr. Fiori had an avid interest in music and played in a band in his earlier years. He played baseball and was a star soccer goalie during his high school years and continued to be active in sports by serving as an umpire and coach for various local youth sports teams. Mr. Fiori was the beloved husband of Mary L. (Pry) Fiori for 33 years. He was the loving father of Teri Shuster and her husband Stephen of Philadelphia, John R. Fiori and his loving companion Debi of Levittown, Sheri Ann Erney and her husband Stephen of Levittown, Jeanne Addis and her husband Troy of Bristol and Tina Gross and her husband Andy of Jenkintown. He was the brother of Jennie Kelly and Ronald Fiori both of Trenton and will also be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park.
