

John "Jack" McDonald died suddenly while vacationing in Belize on January 12, 2018 at the age of 67.Born in Trenton, NJ, Jack has been a lifetime resident of Lower Bucks County and was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. He achieved his Bachelors Degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.Jack was employed with ETS for 30 years, from 1974 until 2004. He retired as Director of Field Operations and worked at both the Ewing and Princeton, NJ locations.After his retirement, Jack enjoyed traveling to destinations across the world and had visited 6 of 7 continents. He was an avid hiker and cyclist.Beloved son of the late John and Mary McDonald, and grandson of the late Helen and John McDonald, Jack is survived by his loving sisters, Maureen Sapelli (Carl) and Kathleen Bascio (Joe).He is also survived by his stepmother, Priscilla McDonald; aunt, Frances Lenhardt; many cousins; extended family and friends.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where words of remembrance will be shared at 12:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Jack's name be made to a charity of donor's choice.
