John F. Mitchell

Born and raised in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia, he spent many years in the Mayfair section prior to moving to Bensalem 2 years ago.

For most of his working career, he was employed as a Union Laborer.

Mitch was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and also had a passion for cooking.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Rigler), Mitch is the loving father of Kristen M. Mitchell and Lauren E. Mitchell.

He is the dear son of Elsie (Sellers) Mitchell and the late John Mitchell; brother of Diane Allmond (Roy), Cindy Parker (Jim), Larry (Carol), Rob (Erika), Jennifer and Valerie Mitchell.

Mitch will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the New Apostolic Church, 404 Pine Run Road, Doylestown, PA, where his memorial service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mitch's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
