John Sylvester Perkins

John Sylvester Perkins John Sylverster Perkins died surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 10, 2014 at his home in Levittown. He was 57. Born in Bristol, the son of Theresa Helen (Brown) Perkins and the late Sylvester John Perkins, John has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County. John spent his working career as a plant technician at PraxAir for 18 years. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and also a passionate NASCAR enthusiast. Beloved husband of 33 years to Susan E. (Galbreath), John was the loving father of Margaret E. "Maggie" Perkins (Joseph Pino) and Christopher J. Perkins. He was the cherished Pappy of Rylee and Madilynn Pino and brother of Lonnie Perkins (Janice) and Michael Perkins (Marie) and his sister-in-law, Christine Perkins John is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings, Thomas, Sylvester, Sireta Lyn and Sireta Lee. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park.
