

Joseph C. Barber Joseph C. "Tweety Bird" Barber died on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne after a courgeous battle with cancer. He was 64. Born in Bristol, he has been a life long Lower Bucks County resident. An avid Eagles and Phillies fan, he enjoyed bingo, trips to Atlantic City and playing the lottery. Mr. Barber was a truck driver for DeNucci & Sons Trucking for 22 years. Beloved husband of 33 years to Beatrice "Bea Bea." (Mennel), he is survived by 2 children, his siblings, Eric Barber, Jr. (the late Lucille) of Fergusonville, Louise Howells (Roger) of Jim Thorpe, Debbie Phelan (Chris) of Lost Creek and Brenda Yeager (Fred) of Levittown. He will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, his extended family, the DeNucci's, his fellow co-workers and his beloved cat, Max. He was preceded in death by his sister Maryjane Burton. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. A procession will form Saturday and will leave from the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., at 10:00 am for a 10:30 am graveside funeral service at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. The family has requested that memorial contributions in his name may be made to Saint Mary Regional Cancer Center, 1201 Langhorne Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
