Joseph B. McMahon, of Levittown died on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his home. He was 57. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. McMahon formerly resided in the Port Richmond and Juniata sections of the city before moving to Levittown 6 years ago. He was employed with Gary's Auto Service located at Castor and Frankford Ave. in Philadelphia for several years and also with L.W.C. Maintenance in Willow Grove for 9 years. Mr. McMahon was the beloved husband of Judy G. (Smith) McMahon for 25 years. He was the loving father of Alicia and Angelo Caranci, Missy and Sean Curran, Jenna McMahon and Stephen Kubek, Jo McMahon and Taylor McMahon. He was the devoted Pop-Pop of Dakota, Emma and Gina. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Emma May Clark and his brothers Thomas McMahon (Arlene) and Dave McMahon. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Interment is private.
