

Born in East Harlem, New York, Mr. Trapenasso has been a resident of Levittown since 1989.
Mr. Trapenasso worked as a truck driver, delivering milk for Meadowbrook Farms in New York for many years and later worked at Louis Tammaro Banana Co. in Robbinsville, New Jersey, where he was the Director of Operations. After retiring, he went to work at Del Monte Foods in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for several years.
Joseph enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing softball. He also loved going to the race track, visiting the ocean and sitting on the beach.
Joseph was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He loved to sing and dance, and he spoke both Italian and Spanish.
Joseph was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Most of all, he will be remembered as a kind, compassionate and generous man who truly loved his family and lifelong friends.
Beloved husband of Kathleen "Kate" (nee White) Malloy for 33 years, Joseph was the loving father of Angelo Trapenasso (Brunny), Joseph "Joe Joe" Trapenasso (Marie) and Valerie Ventra and stepfather of John (Judith), Timothy (Jody) and Charles Malloy.
He was the devoted grandfather of Spencer (Ali), Joshua (Amanda), Rachel, Rebecca and Bridget and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who he dearly loved.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Anna (nee Scocozza) Trapenasso; sisters, Adele, Marie, Camille and Ann and his stepchildren, Patrick John, Anna Marie Patricia and Kathleen Theresa Malloy.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, Pennsylvania, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
