Josephine CieriJosephine Cieri of Holland died on Friday, December 9, 2016 after her courageous battle with cancer. She was 78.Born in Palmoli, Italy, Josephine moved to Bensalem in 1980 where she resided until moving to Holland 5 years ago.She was employed with Angelo Brothers in Philadelphia for many years and then worked at the Genardi's in Feasterville for several years.Josephine was a member of St. Ephrem parish in Bensalem where she was active with the Catholic Daughters. She was also a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Seniors.Mrs. Cieri is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Dino A. Cieri; her loving children Gabriel "Dino", (Pauline) and Mark J. (Nancy); her grandchildren Andrew, Anthony, Anna and Kathryn; and her siblings Clotilde Trotto, Silvana DiNinni and Quintino Cane.Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Thursday and 8:15 until 9:15 a.m. on Friday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Ephrem Church followed by Rite of Committal at Sunset Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Court of Saint Ephrem Catholic Daughters, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
