Juan F. DeLeon died unexpectedly at his home in Bensalem, on Monday, May 31, 2010. He was 94. Born in the Philippines, he served during World War II in the Filipino resistance. Beloved husband of 65 years to Luisa A. (Almanzoro), Mr. DeLeon is the loving father of Walfrido, Juan F., III, Miguelito, Virginia Zabat and Evangline Palmiery; the proud grandfather of 18 and the great grandfather of 15. He will also be sadly missed by his 3 brother, 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 am at Saint Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
