Kathleen (Kathy) Wilkins, a lifelong resident of Langhorne, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 17, 2025. She was born on December 1, 1949, to the late John P. Hogan and Dolores (Czarnecki) Hogan.
Kathy was a proud 1969 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, where she remained actively involved over the years as a dedicated member of the reunion committee. She devoted more than 25 years to Friends Village, where she served both as a caregiver and hairdresser—roles that perfectly reflected her love for people and her gift for making others feel cared for.
A woman deeply rooted in faith and community, Kathy was a member of Beta Sigma Phi International Women’s Sorority for over 35 years, a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Grace Parish, and more recently enjoyed time with friends at the Langhorne Garden. She and her husband Bud built a beautiful life and family.
Kathy will be remembered most for her joyful spirit and her love for family. She cherished every moment with her grandchildren, never missing a chance to cheer them on at their sporting events. Always happy, always giving, she had a way of brightening the lives of everyone around her.
Kathy is now reunited with her husband of 54 years, Bud Wilkins, and her sister-in-law: Margaret Johnson (Wilkins).
She is survived by her children: Mark (Sarah) Wilkins and Erika (Kenneth Jr.) Evans; her beloved grandchildren: Kenny Evans III, Ella Evans, Jack Wilkins, and Madison Wilkins; her great-niece, Liberty Frey; her siblings: Dolores Butynskyi, Diana (James) Snyder, and John (Marjie) Hogan; her sister-in-laws Maryora (John) Hedgepath, Fran Wilkins, and Nancy Frey; her brother-in-law Joe (Holly) Wilkins; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
One of Kathy’s wishes was that everyone wear bright and cheerful colors to her funeral, to celebrate her life in the way she lived it. Kathy’s legacy of kindness, faith, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation for Kathleen will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA 18940, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 AM at St Andrew's Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania 18940. She will be laid to rest at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.
