Leo F. Stapleton of Levittown died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83. Born in Coaldale and raised in Tamaqua, Mr. Stapleton has been a resident of Levittown since 1950. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish. He was employed with the former Kaiser Medal Products for several years before going to work for Strick Trailers where he worked 32 years until retiring in 1994. He was an avid golfer but mostly he was a devoted family man. Mr. Stapleton was the beloved husband of Gloria M. Stapleton (Carlson) for 60 years. He was the loving father of Richard L. Stapleton (Beverly) of Richboro, Brian Stapleton (Carol) of Langhorne, the late Kevin M. Stapleton, Joseph Stapleton of Levittown and Suzan Campanelli (Chuck) of Farmington, MO. He was the devoted grandfather of Matthew, Katie, Kyle and Sandy, and will also be missed by his sister Kathryn Miller of Trout Run, PA. Services will be private
