

Leonard F. Stacer Jr., of Langhorne died on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Chandler Hall. He was 72. Born in Pittsburgh, Mr. Stacer moved to Lower Bucks County in the early 1950's settling in Fairless Hills. He has resided in Langhorne for the past 40 years. He has been a long time member of the Fairless Hills United Methodist Church. Mr. Stacer was the former owner and operator of Stacer's Getty located on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Bristol Township for many years. He then became the owner of C & L Warehouse in Morrisville and later Stacer's Factory Direct Sheds in Bristol. Mr. Stacer was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the John Billington V.F.W. Post #6495, the Fairless Hills Lodge #776 F & A.M., where he was a long time steward, and the B.P.O.E. #2023. He enjoyed antique cars and traveling with his wife in his motor home. Mr. Stacer was the beloved husband of Carole S. (Edgell) for 48 years. He was the loving father of Gary E. Stacer of Doylestown, Sherry L. Lamelza and her husband Nicholas of Doylestown, Shelly L. Hillman and her husband Jay of Levittown and the late Leonard F. Stacer III and his surviving spouse Debra of Mickleton, NJ He was the devoted grandfather of Colleen, Brandy, Kelsey, Zachery and Natalie. He was the brother of Robert Stacer of Levittown and Gene Stacer of WIlliamsport and will be missed by several nieces, nephews and the family dogs Sherman, Honey and Angel. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Fairless Hills United Methodist Church, 840 Trenton Rd., Fairless Hills, PA 19030 where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, meorial contributions may be made to Fairless Hills United Methodist Church.
