Linda was born May 15th 1951 in Cleveland Ohio. She was one of 3 children of Donald and Frances McQuillan and loving wife of 15 years to Eric Lind of Minnesota.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Morrisville and attended Morrisville High School. She spent several years working side by side with her Mother, Frances, at National Ceramics in NJ, where she enjoyed not only working near her Mom, but the many lunches they shared together there.
She enjoyed more than anything time with her family and friends, cheering on her Eagles whenever they played and rooting against her husbands team, the Vikings when they played against each other. She collected unicorns, Winnie the Pooh, Snoopy, and loved Christmas when she would enjoy the many Christmas specials on television. She loved her dog Max above any pet she had and wished to have his remains buried with her, which will be honored. Throughout her life she was a devoted mother and always put her son first, always. She could always be counted on by friends and family for a loving ear and shoulder.
She enjoyed trips to the shore, loved to laugh, and her fun hair styles that she enjoyed in her senior years. She battled Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy for over 40 years which was very debilitating and painful. She fought hard to be able to maintain quality of life and spend time with friends and family during this time despite the harsh pain. In her 70’s she unfortunately was also diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis which she battled along with RSD for the remainder of her life. Her husband, Eric, did whatever he could and more to try and make her as comfortable as possible and tried to help her improve to have a better quality of life in the last years of her life. She appreciated and loved him with all of her being. Despite her discomfort and ailments she never lost her faith and loved Jesus and continued to pray daily.
Linda is survived by husband, Eric Lind, sister, Karen McQuillan of Tullytown, her only son Peter and wife Carrie Kerner of Bensalem, grand children Cynthia and William Vorhaus of Trevose, Allison Bretzel and Eric Gernavage of Yardley, Madison and Stephanie Rose of Morrisville, Taryn and Raymond Marstein of Langhorne, one great grandson Raymond Marstein Jr., 2 step children Stephanie and Morgan, and nephew Robert Krier of Maryland, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Frances McQuillan, brother Richard, and niece Crystal Krier.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service, at the James J Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. All other service will be private.
Linda’s heart for her friends and family will always be the thing that people will remember. The type of person to care about you before she cared for herself. Her memory and light that shined in the darkness of this world will always be missed but also never be absent.
