On November 22, 2025, the world lost an incredibly beautiful soul as Louise E. Belmont, age 76, passed away suddenly. A proud resident of Newtown, Pennsylvania, Louise was a beacon of kindness and grace. Her warmth touched everyone she met, and her joyful spirit made life brighter for family and friends alike.
Born in Philadelphia to Edward J. Dudlik and Rosemary C. Walsh, Louise grew up with a vibrant spirit. After graduating from Bishop Conwell High School in 1967 and continuing her studies at Bucks County Community College, she spent over two decades as a medical office manager. Her compassion and gentle nature touched many lives, leaving a legacy of helping others.
Louise approached life with genuine enthusiasm, finding joy in simple pleasures—playing her favorite Wizard of Oz game, dancing, cruising, beach walks, reading, and singing at concerts. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family, especially when preparing holiday meals that brought everyone together.
Louise leaves behind her devoted husband of 57 years, Thomas J. Belmont; her children, Michael T. Belmont and Karen L. McKeever; her beloved grandchildren Taylor K. Bucknum (David A. Cichocki), Kiley K. Bucknum, Liam E. McKeever, and Rosemary M. Chamberlain (Richard); her great-grandson Blake Chamberlain; and her life-long best friend, Judith Jordan. She is reunited in peace with her daughter Kimberly L. Belmont, her parents, and her sister Patricia A. Stewart.
A visitation will be held on November 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
Louise’s laughter, love, and zest for life will forever echo into the hearts of those who knew her. May her love continue to guide and comfort those who carry her memory in their hearts.
Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
