Margaret M. Bellus

Margaret M. Bellus Margaret M. Bellus died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Manor Care in Lower Makefield Township. She was 88. She was a resident of Levittown since 1950 and a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church. Margaret was an Army Nurse earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, and served during World War II in Burma and India. She was employed with Lower Bucks Hospital for fourteen years and then with the Bristol Township School District for eighteen years, retiring in 1982. Margaret was the wife of the late Cyril J. Bellus. She is the loving mother of John J. (Meg), Marie Schuchardt (Frank), Marian Bellus and Margaret Bellus. She will also be missed by her twelve grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her brother, Thomas J. Connolly, Jr. and her sister, Nancy Gregory and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sr. Mary Hugh, O.P. and Alice C. Whalen and her brothers, John J. Connolly, Sr. and William P. Connolly, Sr. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 8:15 until 9:15 at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
