Maria Emilia Ribeiro passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the age of 84.Born in Cebolas de Cima, Portugal, Maria Emília immigrated to the United States in 1969, settling in Philadelphia and working as a skilled seamstress.Maria Emília radiated pure love and light to everyone she encountered and was entirely devoted to her family. An ultimate caregiver and true matriarch, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.Beloved wife of 64 years to Julio P. Ribeiro, a devoted mother to João C. Ribeiro and Ernesto N. Ribeiro (Paula Ribeiro) and the loving grandmother of Julian Ribeiro, Justin Ribeiro and Priscilla Ribeiro. She is also survived by her brother, Ernesto Neves and will be dearly missed by her grand-furbaby, Sooki.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 25, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
