Marianne E. Hess

Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Margaret (O'Callaghan) and John Edward Boyle, Marianne has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills.

An alumnus of Immaculata University where she received her degree in economics, Marianne had a 40 year career in banking as a senior vice president, most recently at TD Bank.

Beloved wife of Donald, Marianne is the loving mother of Donald J. Hess (Nikki), Mary Cate Hess (Brian Lambert) and Matthew James Hess; and the devoted grandmother of Conner and Charlotte Hess.

Marianne is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Moschouris (George), Beth Passman (Grant), Regina Cunningham (James) and sister-in-law Jean (Patrick); as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John Patrick, Timothy J. and James Boyle.

She loved spending time with her family and dogs, as well as reading, and doing the crossword puzzle.

Family and friends at a limited capacity are invited to call on Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
