

Marilyn S. BarrickMarilyn S. Barrick died after a brief illness at Aria-Jefferson Health Bucks County in Langhorne on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 91.Born and raised in Sayre, PA, Mrs. Barrick was a graduate of Bucknell University, achieving her Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Finance.She was formerly of the Germantown section of Philadelphia and was an original Levittown homeowner in Middletown Township. Mrs. Barrick is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown.She enjoyed bowling and working on puzzles, but most important to her was a genuine love for her entire family. She felt blessed to be surrounded by all of her children during her illness. Though she came across as quiet and reserved in nature, she had a strong inner presence. She also had a sharp mind and enjoyed playing Scrabble, Skip Bo and Bingo. She had a sense of humor and playful spirit (including a fondness for sticking out her tongue). She will also be remembered for her pretty blue eyes and her love of tiramisu.Beloved wife of the late Howard B. Heinaman and Kenneth Barrick, Mrs. Barrick is the loving mother of H. Keith Heinaman, Robert B. Heinaman (Mary), Judy Glover (Charlie), Barb Spiewak (Joe) and Linda Kaufman (Mike).She is the devoted grandmother of Dan Heinaman (Samantha), Kristen Gaba (Nick), Jenna Heinaman, Victoria Eichensehr (fiance Evan Bortzfield), Kellen Eichensehr, Natalie, Daniel and Julia Kaufman; proud great grandmother of Blake and Colin Gaba; and dear sister of David West.Mrs. Barrick will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and her many friends, especially at her home in Juniper Village in her later years.She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Dick West and Ellie Crawford.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown and on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 9:00 until 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 5918 Emilie Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
