Marilyn J. Long

Marilyn J. Long passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, due to complications of the Coronavirus. Marilyn's family is so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by the hospital staff at Saint Mary.

Born in Philadelphia, and formerly of Trevose and Langhorne, Marilyn has resided in Penndel for the last several years.

She was a 1962 graduate of Villa Joseph Marie High School, Holland and a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Penndel.

For 21 years, Marilyn was employed at Cardinal Financial. She also worked in the Dietary Department at Attleboro Nursing Home in Langhorne up until her death.

Beloved daughter of the late Mary (Eksterowicz) and John Friedrich, Marilyn is the dear sister of Emileen C. Klos (Edward). She will also be sadly missed by her niece, Christine M. Fox (Patrick Dougherty), her caregiver for many years and her great niece, Taylor N. Fox all of Jeffersonville, PA.

She will be sadly missed by her cousins, Reverend F.C. Eksterowicz, Joanne Boardman (John) and Denise Sadowl.

Services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, in order to help to cover the cost of the funeral.
