Marilyn was born and raised in West Pittston, Pa and a 1954 graduate of West Pittston High School. Marilyn moved to Levittown in the early 1960’s with her beloved husband of nearly 65 years, Jim. She was an avid Phillies fan, and could always be found enjoying the game, win or lose. Marilyn especially enjoyed family gatherings at the holidays.
Marilyn was preceded in death by Jim in 2021. Marilyn is the loving mother of Richard J. Williams (Beth) and Linda L. Kramer (Patrick); devoted grandmother of Christopher R. Williams (Brittany), Megan E. Besterci (Matthew) and Connor P. Kramer; and the proud great grandmother of Evelyn, Ben and Teddy Besterci.
Mrs. Williams is the dear sister of the late Louise Searfoss and Nancy Pollard.
A committal service will be held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, located at 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, Pennsylvania, 18940. The service is scheduled for March 27, 2026, at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions in Marilyn’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
