Mary Lou Reid

Mary Lou Reid Mary Lou (Ashcraft) Reid passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol. She was 57. She has been a life long resident of Levittown and was a graduate of Pennsbury High School. Mary Lou enjoyed traveling with her husband and loved the beach. She looked forward to her yearly trip to the Outer Banks. Mary Lou also loved caring for her cherished pets. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and that meant more to her than anything. Many lives will be forever changed by the fact that Mary Lou was proud to be an organ donor. She was the beloved wife of 24 years to Charles R. Reid and the loving sister of James Ashcraft, Leslie McCarthy (Bob), William Ashcraft (Lori), Richard Ashcraft and sister-in-law of Peg (David) Acker. Mary Lou was the devoted aunt of Judi, Bobby (Lynne), Jim, Dan and Reverend Stephen McCarthy; Christopher (Kristina) and Jon Ashcraft; Rachel Sayers and Max Ashcraft; and Ian Acker (Spring);and the proud great aunt of James and Sean McCarthy; Brooke Ashcraft, Tierney and Reese Sayers; and Campbell, Tess and Savannah Acker. She was predeceased by her parents, Maxine Louise (Kerfoot) and James M. Ashcraft. Services and interment will be held privately.
