Mary Elizabeth McLaurin Mary Elizabeth (Soden) McLaurin died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 90. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of the late Ella (Hanlon) and Charles Soden, she was orphaned at the age of 9 along with her siblings, Charles, Henry, Loretta, Sally, Frank and Verna. They were all raised by their Aunt Mame. Mrs. McLaurin was an orginial Levittown homeowner. A firm believer in angels, she was very proud of her collection of all types and designs of angels. Pink was Mrs. McLaurin's favorite color. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late William, Mrs. McLaurin was the loving mother of Barbara Hayes, William McLaurin, II and James McLaurin all of Levittown. She was the proud grandmother of Shannon Downs and the great grandmother of Ashley, Tyler and Logan. She will also be sadly missed by her surviving sisters, Loretta D'Aversa and Verna Carlisi and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Rosedale Memorial Park.
