Mary V. SproulMary V. Sproul was born on June 27, 1917 and died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at her home. She was 99.Born in Philadelphia, and a longtime resident of the city, Mrs. Sproul has resided in Langhorne Manor since September 2004. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish.She was employed with various attorneys for several years, the Tax Collector of the City of Philadelphia for 10 years, Woods Services for 5 years, and the IRS as an Auditor for 25 years.She is the beloved wife the late John Ganley and the late James Sproul and mother of the late Joan F. (Ganley) Mangin .Mrs. Sproul is survived by her devoted daughter & son in law, Mary & John DeSandro with whom she resided. She is survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Kelly and sister, Eleanor (Kelly) Gardner.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Avenue, Penndel where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Sepulchre.
