Born in Stratford, NJ, and raised in Shamong Twp, NJ, he was a 2004 graduate of The College of New Jersey with BS in Computer Science. He was a software developer for the State of New Jersey.
He met the love of his life Katy online, after several attempts to connect. They were married after 4 years, and built a life together, raising two beautiful daughters.
In his very limited free time, Matt enjoyed gardening, the Arsenal Football Club, and gaming. Originally opposed to pets, he grew to love all animals, and collected two dogs and three cats.
He was always there to help anybody, and was generous to a fault.
He touched everyone who knew him, and will be sorely missed.
Predeceased by his father, Thomas Tomasic; and his brother, Daniel Tomasic. Matt is survived by his beloved wife, Katy; his daughters, Emily and Gabby; his mother, Marjorie Tomasic (Andrew Smeigh); his stepmother Doreen Tomasic; and sister Nicole Tomasic, and many extended family.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19056. A funeral service will follow.
All other services for Matthew will be private.
