Maureen E. Squire

Born in North Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Sara (Biggins) and Eugene Harris, Maureen was a 1967 graduate of Little Flower High School.

She has been a resident of Bristol Township for the past 42 years. An active member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Levittown, she, with her sister, founded and operated the J.O.Y. program.

Maureen enjoyed crafts, gardening, and attending her Koi Pond. She also found great enjoyment in bird watching.

Beloved wife of 49 years to Joseph F. Squire, Maureen is the loving mother of Michelle Leighton (Patrick) and Joseph F. Squire (fiancé, Darlene Dippolito).

She is the devoted grandmother of Ryan and Kylie and dear sister of Bonnie Russell (Richard) and Darlene Potter.

Maureen will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 17, 2019, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, from 8:15 until 9:15 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 10:00 am, at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
