Michael Krawitz

Michael Krawitz Michael Krawitz died surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at his home in Levittown. He was 84. Born in Weirton, West Virginia, he was a Levittown resident for 38 years. Mr. Krawitz was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown, where he also served as an usher for many years. He was also a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council 4215. Mr. Krawitz served proudly in the U.S. Navy during both World War II and the Korean War. Beloved husband of 51 years to Dolores (Keller), he was the loving father of Mikhail Kniaziewicz (Kathleen), Victoria Reid (Jeff), Virginia Rooney-Bramante (Thomas) and the late Dorothy A. Krawitz. He was the devoted and proud grandfather of 6. He will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his kittys, Maxie and Willie. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, 8:30 until 9:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown. Rite of Committal will be held in Emilie United Methodist Cemetery.
