Michael Leas

Michael Leas Michael "Hoppie" Leas passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. He was 64. Born and raised in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Pauline (Krasnoff) and Nathan Leas. He was a graduate of Northeast High School Class of 1965. Mr. Leas was a Bristol Township resident for the past 30 years. He was employed for the past 20 years with Discount Auto in Langhorne in the Finance and Insurance departments. Mr. Leas was best known for his sense of humor and his greatest enjoyment in life was the time spent with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Leas is survived by the love of his life, (his "Ying") Tara A. Kukorlo; his children, Bret Leas (Janice) of Montclair, NJ, Melissa Leas of Lafayette Hill, Troy Kukorlo (Tina) of Philadelphia and Karli Hartman of Levittown; his grandchildren, Abigail, Todd, Michael, Kaitlin, Jamie, Carson and George; and his brother, Maurry Leas (Judy) of Fort Washington. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be private.
