Michael James Moore, age 69, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, PA

Michael had been a resident of Levittown for the first 40 years of his life, He also lived in the Tampa Bay area, and Spencer, Indiana, returning to Levittown in September of 2020.

He was the son of the late Ronald and Clair (Keyes) Moore and is survived by his sons Marc (Rebecca Harrison) and their daughter Rylan of Albrightsville, PA and Jason (Lisa Demsky) and their sons, Jaxton, and Colson of Santa Monica, CA. He was the brother of the late Dennis Moore of Fairless Hills, Patricia Ann Wood (Moore) and her husband George of Croydon, the late Sharon McFarland (Moore) of Levittown, and Colleen Moore of Levittown. As well as Uncle to his nieces and nephews, Lauren Wood, Michael Wood, Erin Hodnett (McFarland), and Ryan McFarland. Michael was an aspiring poet, manager for Unitog Inc, truck driver, and former District Manager for the Bucks County Courier Times. Michael played and coached baseball for many years in Levittown International Little League. Michael loved art, poetry, great books, films, baseball, hockey, football, and was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan.

Through sports and play, Michael taught his children to love unconditionally. To protect their families, and most important - to never give up. Despite long struggles, Michael never gave up and that lesson of perseverance will echo through generations to come. He also set an example of being the type of dad that will get down on the floor and play video games with his children for hours on end, and never hold back.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service and luncheon Saturday, April 8 from 1:00 pm to 4 pm at the American Legion Post 834, 300 Yardley Ave, Fallsington PA. 19054. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with the memorial and luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the National Alliance on Mental Illness donate.nami.org.
