

Born and raised in Jim Thorpe, PA, Norbert was a graduate of Mauch Chunk High School. He has resided in Falls Township for the past 60 years and was a longtime member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills, PA.
Norbert was a proud US Army Corporal, who served in the Western Pacific.
He retired in 1990 from US Steel after 29 years as a Railroad Repairman. He had previously worked for the Leigh Valley Railroad. Most recently he worked at Walmart for over 15 years.
Norbert enjoyed gardening, watching the Phillies and Eagles games.
Norbert and his loving wife, Fay, traveled extensively all over the world.
Beloved husband of the late Frances (Farrell) "Fay", Norbert is the loving father of Christine McHugh (John), Noreen Foster (John) and Melinda Moran (Kevin); the devoted grandfather of 10; proud great grandfather of 2; and father-in-law of Linda Blum.
He is the dear brother of Robert Blum (Betty).
Norbert will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is predeceased by his children, Norbert "Joe" and Terri Blum; and his siblings, Francis Blum, Jean Trainor and Pauline Steigerwalt.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, 11:00 am, in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
