Ola Fay Higgins

Born in Simpson, Oklahoma, Mrs. Higgins has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County and was a member of Emilie United Methodist Church for many years. She was the former owner/operator of Ola's Beauty Shop.

Mrs. Higgins was very handy and extremely talented. She loved quilting, knitting, was a wonderful seamstress and she had a great green thumb.

She loved her home away from home in Surf City, Long Beach Island, NJ, where she was a very active member of the United Church of Surf City.

Beloved wife of the late John W., Mrs. Higgins is the loving mother of John E. Higgins (Diane) and Rebecca Lowe (late Walter A.); devoted grandmother of John E. Higgins Jr. (Andrea), Shannon McLaughlin (Brian), Tracy Morgan (Adam), and Kerith Roche (Kevin); and proud great grandmother of Elizabeth, Evelyn, Taidhg, Tristan, Ronan, Alexi, Rylan, Broc, Liam and Greyson.

She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA 19057, where her funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. The family is requesting that face masks be worn at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Emilie United Methodist Church at the above address or to United Church of Surf City, 701 N Central Ave, Surf City, NJ 08008.
