Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, on March 14, 1958, Patricia dedicated her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally.
She spent the majority of her adult life working in the healthcare field, serving in nursing homes where her compassion, dedication, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. Even in retirement, Patricia’s nurturing nature continued to shine through in her love and care for family.
Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Worthline) McCormick and Charles McCormick. She was predeceased by her siblings Maureen, Charles, and Elizabeth, and is survived by her sisters Mary Greeley, Denise McCormick, and Kathleen Flanagan. Patricia played a profound role in the lives of her sister Denise’s three children—Kellyann Romer, Denise Romer, and Catherine Rooney—whom she cherished as her own.
Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory on Wednesday, August 20th, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA, as we say goodbye to a loving sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness will be dearly missed.
