Patrick A. Monahan

Patrick Anthony Monahan died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Willliamsport, PA following brief illness. He was 60. Born in Shenandoah, PA, Pat was raised in Levittown where he resided for many years until moving to Willliamsport. He was a 1970 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where he was a member of the track and wrestling teams. Pat loved sports and played men's softball for many years. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, but he especially loved his Eagles. Pat will be remembered for his great personality and wit that could lighten the mood in any room. Pat was very happily married to Helen (Dolly) Pegram for many years until her death in 2000. He was the son of the late John, Sr. and Theresa M. Monahan and brother of the late John Monahan, Jr. Pat was the brother of Robert and his wife Donna Monahan and the very proud and adoring uncle of Bobby and Shane Monahan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Saturday, September 10, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, where his ashes will be laid to rest with his brother, Jack.
